Yes, in MetaMask, you can customize gas fees when making transactions on the Ethereum blockchain. Here's how you can do it:
When you're ready to make a transaction in MetaMask, such as sending Ether or interacting with a smart contract, you'll see a gas fee estimation. This estimation is usually presented as "Slow," "Average," or "Fast" with corresponding gas prices in Gwei (a unit of Ethereum gas).
To customize the gas fees, click on the "Edit" or "Advanced Options" button next to the gas fee estimation. This will allow you to manually adjust the gas price (in Gwei) and gas limit for your transaction.
Gas price refers to the amount you're willing to pay per unit of gas, and the gas limit is the maximum amount of gas you're willing to spend on the transaction.
Keep in mind that setting a higher gas price will make your transaction more likely to be included in the next block, but it will also increase the cost of the transaction. Conversely, setting a lower gas price may result in slower confirmation times but will be cheaper.
Once you've adjusted the gas price and gas limit to your liking, you can proceed with the transaction by clicking "Confirm" or "Send."
By customizing gas fees, you have more control over the speed and cost of your transactions on the Ethereum network.
